Bicycle Safety Education

 

The Piedmont Triad Council of Government's Ped Power program will work with you to develop a cycling education training program designed for your needs.Cycling Education

Some of the Classes Offerred in the Piedmont Triad:

Traffic Safety Skills 101 - Develop your bicycle handling and traffic skills.  learn to ride safely in traffic and learn about fixing basic mechanical problems.

Bicycle Commuting - Learn the tips and tricks to getting to work or running errands by bike.

Kids 1 - For Parents to learn how to choose a bike, fit a helmet and teach your child to ride.

Motorist Education - Discover how a motor vehicle driver can share the road safely by learning to think like a cyclist.

In fall 2009, the Piedmont Triad Council of Governments hosted a League Cycling Instructor Seminar and training, where 13 new LCIs attended and received their teaching certificate. >> Pictures and Info >>
